answer for question 1.
rational no between 2/3 and 5/3
1st no (2/3 + 5/3)/2 = (7/3)/2=7/6
2nd no (2/3 + 7/6)/2 = {(4+7)/6}/2 =11/12
3rd no (7/6 + 5/3)/2 = (7+10)/12 = 17/12
similarly,
add any 2 numbers from above results and divide it by 2 to get the next required number
