Below is short note on an ideal world or good society -
According to me an ideal society is described as a society where there is complete harmony among the individuals of the community in religious, social, economic and political terms. A culture where people respect each other, where justice, equality, and fraternity inculcate in its real sense. An ideal society would be honest, transparent and equal in all things and if possible, a society with limited powers for politicians to remove corruption. A society that believes that despite the majority believing the lies and the minority knowing the truth that this would be reversed. Today society is corrupted and held hostage by militant minorities who wish to pursue their own personal agendas at great cost to the majority. Yesterday’s friend are suddenly today’s threats when as friends they are of no further use. An ideal society is one in which individuals and groups are able to fulfil their needs and satisfy their preferences for material goods to a level sufficient to afford an opportunity for happiness. It would do this while tolerating differences of less materialistic goals and allowing for at least some chance of living a life one chooses. It’s actually not too far from contemporary liberal democracies around the world.
