The environment encompasses all living and nonliving things occurring naturally meaning in this case not artificial. the term is most of ten applied to the earth or some parts of the earth. The environment encompasses the interaction of all living species, climate weather and natural resources that affect human survival and economic activity.

pollution is the introduction of contaminants into the natural environment that cause adverse change pollution can take the form of chemical substances or energy such as noise, heat or light. pollutants the components of pollution can either foreign substances /energies or naturally occurring contaminants.

And it has four components:

1. Hydrosphere (water)
2. Lithosphere (land)
3. Atmosphere (air)

4.Biosphere(life)

U can write some more things in ur assignment like : biotic (living)and abiotic (non living)resources which make up the environment.

Pollution :

Pollution is the introduction of harmful materials into the environment.

These harmful materials are called pollutants.
