we can prove by proving the triangles abd and ADC congruent

angle abd =angle acd=90° ( angles in a semicircle are 90°)

AD=AD common side

AB=AC chords equidistant from the centre are equal.

therefore TRIANGLE ABD IS CONGRUENT WITH TRIQNGLE ACD. by SAS

therefore angles bad=angle dac corresponding parts of congruent triangles are equal. therefore AD bisects angles BAC.

Similarly AD bisects BDC
