The animation was soo beautiful, I could feel the years of "crusts" break off - and my heart was bleeding and pumping with love and pride for the majesty of my homeland - Africa. Graphics were spectacular (I could see they correct anatomical placement of veins) and it was obvious that the animators put soul into the graphic/animation part of the film.I recognised soo many Authentic African animals, trees, flowers/landscape and animal background sounds. Nala, Mufasa, Timon, Pumba and Rafiki's voices fit in perfectly but I do wish that Disney animators paired up with South African animators and actors so that we could have more Authentic African sounding voices for Simba, the Hyena's and Scar. It would've given just the right amount of African spirit in combination with a bit more animal sounds for eg. When Rafiki joins the fight he opens his mouth but not much comes out, instead a powerful baboon bark would've given some power to the scene. Simba and especially Scar's voice actors sounded very unsure of what they were saying - not enough power/ confidence which left some viewers feeling that there wasn't enough soul, power/ majesty put into the audio part of the film.

Overall I believe Lion King 2019 has yet again set new hights for animations to come and has created a whole new genre of quality animation. Thank you to all of the people involved in the making of this film - spectacular job !
