Answer:

Outsourcing jobs means to hire a company to be responsible for the staff of another company, for instance, if company X makes cars, it can hire company Y to provide company X with people and be responsible for them independently if these people are working for company X or in any other company.

Two possible advantages of outsourcing is that the process of hiring people tends to be easier, using the previous example, company X does not have to worry about what to do with the staff when production is in a slow rhythm, company Y can re-arrange these people to work elsewhere. Another advantage is just that, the staff can be re-allocated as necessary, they do not need to be made redundant because company X does not have the demand it used to have.

One possible drawback is that outsourcing tends to lower wages and people tend to work more for less. Another drawback is that the staff does not have much control on where to work and even stability because sometimes they have to work on a limited period.
