Step-by-step explanation:

Given that:Area of Rhombus is 180 cm².One of the diagonal is 15 cm.

To find: Other diagonal

Solution:

Tip:

\bold{area \: of \:rhombus =  \frac{1}{2} \times d_1 \times d_2} \\  \\ here \: d_1 \: and \: d_2 \: are \: diagonals \\  \\

let d1 = 15 cm

Area= 180 cm²

d2=?

180 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 15 \times d_2 \\  \\  d_2 = \frac{180 \times 2}{15}  \\  \\ d_2 = 12 \times 2 \\  \\ d_2 = 24 \: cm \\  \\

Other diagonal is of 24 cm length.

Thus,

Option D is correct.

Hope it helps you.

Area of Rhombus = 1/2 × d₁ × d₂

⇒ 180 cm² = 1/2 × 15 cm × d₂

⇒ 180 cm² = 15 cm/2 × d₂

⇒ 180 cm² = 7.5 cm × d₂

⇒ 180 cm²/7.5 cm = d₂

⇒ 24 cm = d₂

∴ Length of Other diagonal = 24 cm
