Given :

  • Initial velocity (u) = 3 m/s
  • Final velocity (v) = 15 m/s
  • Time (t) = 15 seconds
  • Mass (m) = 50 kg

To find :

  • Acceleration (a) &
  • Force (F)

According to the question,

v = u + at

Where,

  • v stands for Final velocity
  • u stands for Initial velocity
  • t stands for Time
  • a stands for Acceleration

Substituting the values,

15 = 3 + a × 15

→ 15 - 3 = 15a

→ 12 = 15a

→ 12 ÷ 15 = a

→ 0.8 = a

.°. Acceleration is 0.8 m/s².

Now,

Force = Mass × Acceleration

Or,

→ F = ma

→ Substituting the values,

→ F = 50 × 0.8

→ F = 40 N

So,the force is 40 Newton.
