Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that the rate of fencing is Rs 24/metre

and it took Rs 5280 total

circumference of circlular field = cost for fencing the field/cost of fencing per metre

                                       = 5280/24

                                       = 220 metres

Circumference of circle = 2πr

220/2π = r

110 × 7/22 = r

r = 35cm

Area of circular field = πr^2

                                  = 22/7 × 35 × 35

                                  = 22 × 5 × 35

                                  = 3850m^2

now, it will take 0.5 Rs/m to plough the field

Total money to plough the field = 0.5 × 3850

                                                     = Rs 1925

Hope this helps ^

let the circumference be x

therefore,

circumference × cost per meter= total cost of fencing

or, x×24= 5280

or, 24x= 5280

or, x=5280/24

or x= 220

so, circumference=220metre

BTP:-

2πr=220

or, 2×22/7×r=220

or, 44/7r=220

or, r/7=220/44

or, r/7=55

or, r=55×7

or, r=385

therefore area of circle = 2πr

=2×22/7×385

=16940/7

=2420

therefore, cost of ploughing the field =2420×0.50

=Rs.1210
