Given:
a5= -11
a12=-25
We know that,
a5=a+4d
a12=a+11d
Hence, a+4d=-11-----(1)
=>a+11d=-25-----(2)
On subtracting (1) from (2), we get 7d=-14
Therefore, d=-2
