Using Remainder Theorum,

Factor = g(x) = x-2 = 0 , x = 2

p(x) = x^4 + 4x^3 - 16x^2 + 10x + p

p(2) = 2^4 + 4×2^3 - 16×2^2 + 10×2 + p = 0

16 + 32 - 64 + 20 + p = 0

p = -4
