1. rule of law: the principle that all people and institutions are subject to and accountable to law that is fairly applied and enforced; the principle of government by law. It is important for the country in a way that it allows the government to maintain equality among all the countrymen. It is the bedrock of democracy. it is to be comprehended that the country is not ruled by some ruler but by the people.

2.Dissent: Can be thought of as right granted to the citizens of acountry to express their opinion or more briefly, freedom of speech. In a democratic society, the need to accept difference of opinion is an essential ingredient of plurality. In that sense, the right of dissent also becomes the duty of dissent since tactics to suppress dissent tend to diminish the democratic essence.

3. Laws to protect minority:

actually we have lots of article stated in the constitution of india that deals with minorities as well as others:

article 25- freedom of religion

article 26- freedom to manage religious affairs

article 27- payment of taxes for promotion of religion

article 29- cultural and educational rights. etc
