Heya friend,

Here is your answer,

(Note : I'm taking 'A' instead of 'theta')

Given : 7sin^2(A) + 3cos^2(A) = 4

Now, dividing by cos^2(A) on both sides,

=> 7tan^2(A) + 3 = 4/cos^2(A)

=> 7tan^2(A) + 3 = 4sec^2(A)

=> 7tan^2(A) + 3 = 4(1 + tan^2(A))

=> 7tan^2(A) + 3 = 4 + 4tan^2(A)

=> 3tan^2(A) = 1

=> tan^2(A) = 1/3

=> tan(A) = 1/√3 (hence proved)

Hope it helps you.
Thank you.

khushishokeen: thanks
