Answer:

In triangle

AOB & DOC

Angle1=Angle 2

Angle 3 = Angle 4

Angle 5=Angle 6

So

tri(AOB) ~ tri (COD)

AO/CO=OB/OD=AB/CD

As we know that the ratio of corresponding side is equal to the area of triangles

AB/CD=AREA (AOB)/AREA (COD)

2CD/CD= 2/1 (Given in question)

Ar(AOB)/Ar (COD)=2/1
