Refer the attachment for figure.

Given when angle is 30°, then height of water is 1 m

Now, tan∅ = P/B

here, in first case ∅ = 30° and P = 1 m

=> tan30° = 1/B

=> 1/√3 = 1/B

=> B = √3

Now base is √3 m

Now, in second case, P = 3m (given)
B = √3 m (derived)

We have to find ∅

So tan∅ = P/B

=> tan∅ = 3/√3

=> tan∅ = (3√3)/3 (by rationalising)

=> tan∅ = √3

But tan60° = √3

=> tan∅ = tan60°

=> ∅ = 60°

Hence, your answer is 60°

Hope it helps dear friend ☺️
