We know,

  • Angle opposite to equal sides are always equal.

In triangle ABC

  • AB = AC (GIVEN)

  • ⇛∠ABC = ∠ACB -------(1)

Also,

In triangle DBC

  • DB = DC (GIVEN)

  • ⇛ ∠DBC = ∠DCB ---------(2)

On adding (1) and (2), we get

  • ∠ABC + ∠DBC = ∠ACB + ∠DCB

  • ⇛ ∠ABD = ∠ACD
