Answer:

(2 \sqrt{5}  + 3 \sqrt{2} ) {}^{2}  \\ (2 \sqrt{5} ) {}^{2}  + (3 \sqrt{2}) {}^{2}   + 2×2 \sqrt{5}  \times 3 \sqrt{2}  \\  = 20 + 18 + 12 \sqrt{10}  \\  = 38+ 12\sqrt{10}

Given

( 2√5 + 3√2)²

Solution

Applying identity = (a +b)² = + 2ab

= ( 25)² + (32)² + 2 × 25 × 32

= 20 + 18 + 1210

= 38 + 1210

Additional information

  • (a +b)² = a² + b² + 2ab
  • (a - b)² = a² + b² -2ab
  • a² - b² = (a+b)(a-b)
