i) consider triangle ABC
PQ║BC (given)
∴AQ/AB= AP/AC---------1   (Basic Proportionality theorem)

consider triangle  ADC
PR║DC
∴AR/AD= AP/AC--------- 2     (Basic proportionality theorem)

∴ RHS of 1 and 2 are equal.
∴AQ/AB=AR/AD

ii)consider triangle ABC
PQ║BC (given)
∴BQ/AQ= PC/AP---------1   (Basic Proportionality theorem)

consider triangle  ADC
PR║DC
∴DR/AR= PC/AP--------- 2     (Basic proportionality theorem)

∴ RHS of 1 and 2 are equal.
BQ/AQ=DR/AR

chhotu81: one time u use basic proportionality theorem as
chhotu81: aq/ab=ap/ac and other time bq/aq/pc/ap why
chhotu81: plz reply
safiasaheb: see, basic proportionality theorum has more than two outcomes
safiasaheb: plz become my friend on brainly and i will explain it to you in detail
safiasaheb: plz mark this as the brainliest if you think i was able to meet up to your expectations
chhotu81: ok
