Explanation:

Q. 6

Given :-

Power = 115 W

Volt = 230 v

We know that ,

Power = vi

115 = 230*i

i = 115/230 A

i = 0.5 A

Also,

w = v*i*t

w = 0.5*230*t

we know charge = w/t

= 0.5*230 = 115 C

Q. 7 Given :-

I = 4A

V = 60 v

V² = 120 v

We know that ,

i = v/r

r = v/i

r = 60/4

r = 15 Ω

we also know that the resistance remains same if voltage is change for a device ,

i² = v²/r

i² = 120/15

i² = 8 A

Hence if voltage is doubled then the current will be doubled.

Q. 8

  • Highest resistance = Req(in series) = 2+3+6 = 11Ω
  • lowest resistance = 1/Req(in parallel) = 1/2+1/3+1/6

= (3+2+1)/6 = 6/6 = 1 Ω
