 \huge \red{answer}

 \large \bold{given}

mass of object 5kg

 \large \bold{to \: find}

weigh on earth and moon

 \large \bold{solution}

as we know that

 \boxed{w = mg}

so g on earth is 10m/S²

then

w = 5 \times 10 \\  \\ w = 50kg

so weight on earth is 50 kg

Now g on moon is one fourth of g on earth

ie 10 x 1/4 = 2.5 g

then by putting value in formula

w = 5 \times 2.5 \\  \\ w = 12.5kg

weight on moon = 12.5kg

hope it helps you
