as we know that

so g on earth is 10m/S²

then

$w = 5 \times 10 \\ \\ w = 50kg$

so weight on earth is 50 kg

Now g on moon is one fourth of g on earth

ie 10 x 1/4 = 2.5 g

then by putting value in formula

$w = 5 \times 2.5 \\ \\ w = 12.5kg$

weight on moon = 12.5kg
