See we have to find total length of the broken tree use pythagoras theoram u will get the one side nd then + 5 hypotenuse in that nd this the ans of apart

you can find height of tree by using pythagoras theorem
hytoneuse ^2 = base ^2+ perpendicular^2
25=16+b^2
b^2=9
base =3
the height of tree is 3m
they want to help people in passong road by putting it aside

answer will be 3 because perpendicular of right angled triangle can never be greater than its hypotenuse
