hay mate

3x+5+2x-25=180

5x=180+20

x=200/5=40

angle1=3x+5=3(40)+5=125°

anhle2=2x-25=2(40)-25=55°

hope it helps

Hey Mate,

Given,

AOB is a straight line.

Then,

∠AOC + ∠BOC = 180° ( ∵ Sum of angles on a straight line = 180° )

=> ( 3x + 5 ) + ( 2x - 25 ) = 180°

On removing the brackets, we get:-

=> 3x + 5 + 2x - 25 = 180°

On transposing 5 from LHS to RHS, we get:-

=> 3x + 2x - 25 = 180 - 5

On transposing -25 from LHS to RHS, we get:-

=> 5x = 175 + 25

=> 5x = 200

On transposing 5 from LHS to RHS, we get:-

=> x = 200/5

=> x = 40

Now,

The angles given are:-

3x + 5 and 2x - 25.

Then on substituting the value of x as 40, we get the angles to be:-

3 ( 40 ) + 5 and 2 ( 40 ) - 25

120 + 5 and 80 - 25

125 and 55

Therefore, the angles are:-

125° and 55°

Hope it Helps!
