We assume he has Rs X

1/10 of X = X/10 donated to school

1/6 of X = X/6 donated to church

So, remaining =

X - (X/10 + X/6 )

= X - (16X/60 )

= 44X/60 was distributed among 3 chidren

So, each gets (44X/60) ÷3

=> 11X/45 = 50000

=> 11X = (50,000 * 45 )

=> X = 20,4545.45…

He originally had Rs 20,4545 ( approx)

Let the money of man be x rupees
Money donated to school=x/10
Remaining money=9x/10
Money donated to church=9x/10*(1/6)=3x/20
Remaining money=17x/20
Money each child recieves=17x/20*(1/3)=17x/60
17x/60=50000
then, x=176470

Sheony: 9x/10-3x/20
Sheony: divided by 3
Sheony: not x - 3x/20
Sheony: get it now?
Sheony: so x/4 = 50000
Sheony: x = 2,00,000
hitarthgodhani: yaa understood y mistake!
Sheony: that's the answer
Sheony: look at the number of comments lol
hitarthgodhani: ikr
