Answer is 8.

Explanation

Number of smaller spheres =

(4 \div 3\pi( {12}^{3} )) \div (4 \div 3\pi( {6}^{3} ))  \\

i.e (Volume of big sphere) / (volume of smaller sphere)

n= (12×12×12/6×6×6) = 8

I hope this is understandable!

Answer:

8 spheres are formed

Step-by-step explanation:

radius of solid sphere(R) = 12 cm

radius of new sphere(r) = 6cm

let number of sphere formed be n

volume of solid sphere = n x volume of new spheres

4/3 π R³= n x 4/3 π r³

R³= n x r³

n= R³/r³

n= (12)³/(6)³

n= (12/6)³

n= (2)³

n=8
