Now as you see that the series continues for infinite number of times so just let the whole expression be equal to X.

Now as you see if you remove one √5 from the entire expression that should not really affect as it is an infinite expression. So what basically I'm trying to say is that √(5√(5√(5 √(5 √(5√……..) is same as √(5x) .

Now as you assumed the original equation to be x ,so what you get is √(5x )=x .

Now square and solve the quadratic.

You'll get 5x=x^2. This gives x=0or5.

Now x can obviously not be 0 as it won't be an equation then ,as you'll get 0=0 which has no meaning in this case . So reject 0 and you'll have x=5 and that's your answer.
