i) The potential energy of water from the surface of the reservoir to point B will be converted to kinetic energy.

ii) If it starts from A , the potential energy decreases resulting in decrease in kinetic energy and electricity generation.

iii) If it starts from C the electricity production will be as same as that when in position B, coz there won't be any real difference in potential difference as the level in the river after crossing the turbine will be the same.
