2y=5..............(2)

from 2

y=2.5

putting the value of y in (1)

3x+3=3*2.5

3x+3=7.5

3x=7.5-3

3x=4.5

x. =4.5/3

x= 1.5

hence,

the value of x is 1.5 and y is 2.5 .
