this figure consist of two triangles.

area of the given figure

= area of triangle ABC + area of triangle BCD

area of figure = 1/2 x AB x CX + 1/2 x BC x DO

area of figure = 1/2( 25 x 8 + 16 x 5)

area of figure = 1/2( 200 + 80)

area of figure = 1/2 (280)

area of figure = 140 cm²

AR. abc =1/2*bace *height

=1/2*AB*CX

=1/2*25*8

=100

similarly find out the area of triangle BDC

And then add both the areas to find the area of the quadrilateral
