then , x = 0.555 ------- 1 )

here , after point only one digit i.e 5 is there so let we multiply it by 10 .

so x × 10 + 0.55555×10 = 10x = 5.5555 ------ 2)

so, the first equation will be subtracted by 2 equation so

10 x - 9x = 1x

5.55555 - 0.55555= 5

thereby; x = 9/5

so , x = 9/5
