Given : Length of a rectangle is 8 metres more than it's width
Let the breadth be x
Length = x + 8
Perimeter = 256 m
2(l+b) = 256
2(x+8+x) = 256
2(2x + 8) = 256
4x + 16 = 256
4x = 256 - 16
x = 240/4 = 60m
Breadth = 60m
Length = (60 + 8) = 68m
Let the breadth be x
Length = x + 8
