We use the formula to find a traingle

that is 1/2×base×height or altitude

In triangle ADF and AFD

1/2×Base× height= 1/2 × Base × height. (1/2 will get cancelled as it is common)

AD×CE=CD×AF (subsituting the value)

10cm×6cm = 12cm × AF

60cm =12cm × AF

60/12=AF

5 cm = AF
