\textsf{Given : The Concert which Kevin watches ends at 8 : 40 pm}

\textsf{We know that :}

\bigstar\ \ \boxed{\textsf{According to 24 hour clock time, 8 : 40 pm is 20 : 40 hours}}

\textsf{Given : Kevin takes 22 minutes to go from theatre to the train station.}

\textsf{So, When kevin reaches the train station, the time will be :}

\implies \textsf{[ \ 20 : 40\ hours + 22\ minutes \ ]}

\implies \textsf{[ \ 21 : 00\ hours + 2\ minutes \ ]}

\implies \textsf{21 : 02\ hours}

\textsf{a) From the given options :}

\textsf{The time of the earliest train that kevin can catch is 21 : 15}

\textsf{So, The earliest possible train that kevin can catch is at 21 : 15 hours}

\textsf{b) We know that, Kevin reached the station at 21 : 02 hours}

\textsf{But, The earliest possible train that kevin can catch is at 21 : 15 hours }

\textsf{So, Kevin has to wait few minutes until the train arrives}

\textsf{The waiting time of kevin until the train arrives is :}

\implies \mathsf{[ \ 21 : 15 \ hours - 21 : 02 \ hours \ ]}

\implies \textsf{13 minutes}

\textsf{So, Kevin has to wait 13 minutes at the station to catch the earliest}\\ \textsf{possible train}
