so if momentum increases by 50% velocity will increase by 50% because mass is constant

write this as

v2=1.5v1

where

v1 is initial velocity

v2 is final velocity

k.e=mv^2/2

ratio of k.e1 and k.e2

k.e1/I.e2=(v2)^2/(v1)^2=125%
