Answer:

In figure 1:

since YZ and XZ are equal (given in the question)

therefore ∠XYZ = ∠YXZ      (opposite angles of opposite sides)

∴ ∠YXZ =70°            ---------------------------------------------------1

   ∠XYZ +∠YZX +∠YXZ = 180°   (angle sum property)

∴∠XZY = 180° -70° - 70°

            = 40°           ----------------------------------------------------2

   ∠YXZ +∠ZXV = 180°   (linear angles)

   70°+∠a = 180°              ( from equation 1)

           ∠a = 110°         --------------------------------------------------3

   ∠YZX +∠XZR = 180°     (linear angles)

    40° +∠b =180°             ( from equation 2)

            ∠b = 140°      --------------------------------------------------4

 In figure 2:

 In ΔBCD

∠B +∠C +∠D= 180°              (angle sum property)

∴∠D= 68°             --------------------------------------------------5

∠BDC+∠BDA = 180°           (linear angle property)

∴ ∠ADB          =112°

∴                ∠y =112°

sorry i was not able to solve x:(
