hey mate,
here's ur answer
area of triangle XYZ=1/2×base into height
the height of the triangle can be written as 2TY

=1/2*2TY*YZ

area of parallelogram= length * breadth
=TY*ZY
area of triangle =area of rectangle
1/2*2TY*YZ=TY*YZ
TY*YZ=TY*YZ

hence proved area of triangle= area of parallelogram

hope it helps

area of triangle XYZ=XFT+TFZY
area of parallelogram YTEZ = EZF +TFZY
for proving we have to prove first that
XFT=EZF
as T is midpoint of side XY
and given YTEZ is a parrelogram
XT=TY=EZ
so area of triangle is 1/2× base × height
area of triangle EFZ =1/2 × EZ×EF
area of triangle XFT=1/2×EZorXT×FT
so we have
EF=FT (as F is midpoint of side ET)
it is proved that
area of triangle XYZ=area of parallelogram YTEZ
HOPE IT HELPS YOU
