Answer:

why cant it be 15 degree ???

its right i can prove that too

Given: ABCD is a square and EDC is an equilateral triangle.

To prove: AE=BE and ∠DAE = 15 DEGREE

Proof: In triangle ADE AND BCE

AD=BD             ( Side of same square)

     ∠ADE=∠BCE         (Each angle is 150°)

DE=BE             ( Side of same equilateral triangle)

So,  by SAS congruence both are congurent

Therefore,  AE=BE   (By CPCT )

Hence Proved

In triangle ADE

AD=DE

(If sides of a triangle are equal then their opposites angles are equal)

∠DAE=∠DEC

In triangle ADE  By angle sum property we can say that

∠DAE +∠DEC +∠ADE = 180

2∠DAE + 150 = 180

2∠DAE = 180 -150

2∠DAE = 30

∠DAE = 30/2 =15

HENCE PROVED

HOPE IT HELPS!!!!!!!!!!

MARK AS BRAINLIEST IF IT DOES !!!!!!!!!
