I hope you want to find the equivalent resistance,

For simplicity lets name each of the resistors,

  • 5ohm = A
  • 15ohm =B
  • 10ohm =C
  • 20ohm =D

now we can see that the C and D resistors are connected in series,

so the total resistance = resistance of C + resistance of D

= 10+20 = 30ohm...(i)

we can see the A and B resistors in series,

so total resistance = 5 + 15 = 20ohm..(ii)

now we can observe the (i) and (ii) resistors in parallel,

@so \:  \frac{1}{total \: resistnce} =  \frac{1}{(i)}  +  \frac{1}{(ii)}

 =  \frac{1}{30}  +  \frac{1}{20}  \\

on cross multiplying,

 \frac{20 + 30}{600} \\  =  \frac{50}{600}  \\  = 0.83ohm(approx.)

so total resistance = 1/0.83ohm ( any doubt arises please check @ statement)
