1) Let assume side of Cubical melon be x

Radius of Spherical melon=x/2

Volume Occupied By Cubical=x^3

Volume.occupied by spherical=

 =  \frac{4}{3} \pi {r}^{3}

 =  \frac{4}{3}  \times  \frac{22}{7}   ({ \frac{x}{2} )}^{3}

 =  \frac{88}{21}  \times  \frac{ {x}^{3} }{8}

 =  \frac{11}{21}  \times  {x}^{3}

Clearly Spherical would occupy less space

2)Volume of cubic watermelon=15^3

=15*15*15cm^3

Volume of water=15% of volume of melon

 =  \frac{15}{100}  \times 15 \times 15 \times 15 {cm}^{3}

=506.25cm^3 of water
