plz plz plz answer the question I asked this question many times but no one give me correct and short answer but the answer that I get was cheated from the Google and other websites. Mercury is used most in thermometers because:

1.Its a heat sensetive liquid.If some other liquid like water is used then it will not rise because it is not a heat sesative liquid.

2.It has a high boiling point and doesnt boil as easily as other liquids

3.it doesnt freeze easily either
