Gaurav lived in a small village of Godavari. His father was a priest and mother was a housewife. She was bound by a lot of work she had to do and therefore she as always busy in the household work away from the freedom that marriage had snatched from her. He remembered his mother discussing her childhood, discussing how free she was and how badly she misses her family and her flying the kite with them.
It was after so long that Gaurav collected money and went out to buy the kite he always had desired for. On the way, he was shocked as he saw a child watching Gaurav's mother as she was flying the child's kite. Tears filled in his eyes as he went running down to the child understanding perfectly what the child must have felt like.
But he was more than happy to see his mother getting excited like a small girl while holding the kite. She became more happy to see her son cheering for her. It was an emotional day for both Gaurav and his mother.
