Step-by-step explanation:

Let both the circles C1 and C2

BM = MC that is radius of the C1 ............(i)

AM= MD that is radius of C2 ..................(ii)

equation (ii) - (i)

→ AM- BM = MD- MC

→ AB= CD

; )

Now AD- BC= AB+ CD

and, we already proved that AB= CD

That means, 1/2( AD- BM) = 1 /2 ( AB+ AB)

1/2(AD- BM) = 1/2× 2(AB)

→ 1/2 (AD- BM) = AB

HENCE PROVED

AB= CD= 1/2 (AD- BM)
