If you are one of those advocates of individual freedom whose needs and luxuries get easily satisfied because of being sound financially then its a boon for you. Then all the debates & discussions not just in Parliament but on TV panels, at the local kerb/roadside/adda are the 'vibrant' exchange of ideas to you. Heck, you will call it the music of democracy
If you are one of the many abjectly poor persons who have very little hope in the mid to long term future, then its a bane. When you struggle to make ends meet then all the debates/discussions in a multiparty system are meaningless. Multiparty system brings with it frequent instability & delays which is very detrimental to economic progress. And economic progress is the only thing that can bring such a huge population out of poverty & give some sort of meaning to their lives.
I personally feel its a bane till poverty is reduced to negligible proportion.
