We live in time when new technologies and inventions appear almost every day. Our grandparents and even parents could not imagine that these changes would happen in reality, but not in fantastic novels. We cannot realize our world without many of them (just think about living without Internet). Today we can dream of such unreal things as flights to other planets, human and animal cloning, growing organs of our bodies, telepathy, teleportation, etc. and it is not fantasy, as everything we need is time and improving existing technologies.

The trilogy “Back to the future” was the beginning of this idea. But my time machine should have a shape of a big balloon or a sphere, inside which you could stand and travel to the past or to the future. Being inside it you could see, watch, hear everything and everybody, because the sides of the machine are crystal and clear for you, but at the same time the sphere with you inside must be invisible for the environment and you can influence on nothing.

In history, many people have come up with several inventions in the aim of making the lives of human beings better and comfortable. As life continues, different inventions are changing at the same rate as the changing world. World's famous inventors have explored and invented things such the earlier inventions such as electricity, the wheel, penicillin etc., to the modern inventions such as the GPRS technology, the social networking, the bar code and many more. However, the invention of electricity paved way for many inventions and for that reason it is considered an invention that changed the world.

Invention of electricity does not have a specific inventor but instead has a chain of inventors. However, Benjamin franklin is credited for discovering electricity in the 18th century. Electricity has huge and growing uses as a form of energy; this is due to its flexibility and reliability. Electricity has several resources that are used to produce it namely, the fossil fuels, water, solar, wind, hydrogen and many others. Its distribution is via the transmission grid to the small scale users. Electricity has several uses.

The first use of electricity was communication whereby the telegraphs, radios and the television had electric motors that were run using electric current. In today's world, electricity is used in almost 75% of the machines. In the rural households, this invention is used for lighting, TV, cooking and other minor consumptions such as computers and fans, in the urban areas; electricity is used in major industries to run machines and other household uses such as running electric products.

The invention of electricity and its continued development has made it the main source of power worldwide for homes, in businesses and in industries. In addition, invention of electricity has led to the invention of the products that are electric powered. With no electricity, very many activities will stop making life very difficult for many people.
