Here is your answer
2.
Area = 180 sq cm
Base = 15 cm
Let the altitude = x cm
As we know the formula

Area of triangle = 1/2 × base × Altitude
 180 \: = \frac{1}{2} \times 15 \times x \\ x = \frac{180 \times 2}{15} \\ x = \frac{360}{15} \\ x = 24 \: cm
So altitude is 24 cm

4. In ∆ ABC
Base AB = 5 cm
Altitude CE = 6 cm

So
Area of triangle is
 = \frac{1}{2} \times 5 \times 6 \\ = 15cm {}^{2}
Now
Base AC. = 4.8 cm
Altitude. BD = x cm
Area = 15sq cm

Area of triangle = 1/2 × base× altitude
15 = \frac{1}{2} \times 4.8 \times x \\ x = \frac{15 \times 2}{4.8} \\ x =6.25 \: cm
So Altitude BD IS = 6.25 cm

rajeev378: how your answer is 24
rajeev378: please tell me
radhika4086: altitude is 24
radhika4086: i am telling about 2nd sum
rajeev378: please check in your question no 4 there is not 24 altitude
rajeev378: in 2 nd sum my answer is 24 also which is correct
rajeev378: maybe book answer is wrong
radhika4086: yes 4th sum is correct i know. m telling about just 2nd sum
radhika4086: may be book ansr is wrong
