Given Side = 5cm.

Given Altitude = 4.8cm.

We know that Area of rhombus = Altitude * Side

                                                      = 5 * 4.8

                                                      = 24cm^2.

Let the length of the other diagonal be d.

Given one diagonal = 8cm.

We know that Area = 1/2 * d1 * d2

 24 = 1/2 * 8 * d2

24 = 4 * d2

d2 = 6cm.

Therefore the length of the other diagonal = 6cm.

Hope this helps!

hiii!!!

1. given the side of the rhombus is 5cm and height (altitude) is 4.8cm.

area of the rhombus = b×h

= 5×4.8

= 24cm²

given the Length of one of the diagonal of the rhombus is 8cm.

area of the rhombus = 24cm²

therefore 1/2×d1×d2 = 24cm²

→ 1/2×8×d2 = 24cm²

→ 4×d2 = 24cm²

→ d2 = 24/4

→ d2 = 6cm

VERIFICATION:-

area of rhombus = 1/2×d1×d2

= 1/2×8×6

= 4×6

= 24cm²

hence verified

thus the Length of the other diagonal of the rhombus is 6cm.

hope this helps..!
