Answer:

in given llgrm

Step-by-step explanation:

A=y=45 (alternate interior angles)

so,y=45

now x+y=180 ( corresponding angle)

x+45=180

x= 180-45=135

therefore value of x is 45

A+Z =180

45+Z=180

Z=180-45

Z=135

Therefore,x=135, y=45, Z=135

Question:-

If ABCD is a parallelogram then find measures of x, y, and z

Answer:-

AB || BC, and AC is a transversal,

45° = y (Alternate Interior Angle)

∠CBA + ∠CBE = 180° (Linear Pair)

→ ∠CBA + 70° = 180°

→ ∠CBA = 110°

In △CBA,

→ ∠CBA + ∠ACB + ∠CAB = 180° (Total angle in a triangle)

→ 110° + y + x = 180°

→ 110° + 45° + x = 180°

→ 155° + x = 180°

x = 25°

DC || AB and DA is a transversal,

→ ∠CDA + ∠DAB = 180° (Cointerior angles)

→ z + 45° + x = 180°

→ z + 45° + 25° = 180°

→ z + 70° = 180°

z = 110°

Ans. x = 25°, y = 45° and z = 110°
