Base of isoscele triangle (b) = 24cm
Area of isosceles triangle = 60cm²
1/4×b under root 4a²-b²= 60
1/4×24× under root 4a²-(24)² = 60
a = 3
Therefore,
perimeter of isosceles triangle = 2a +b = 2×3 +24= 6+24 = 30cm

Let the length of the equal sides of the given triangle = x.

Given measure of the base = 24cm.

We know that semiperimeter s = x + x + 24/2

                                                    = 2x + 24/2

                                                    = 2(x + 12)/2

                                                    = x + 12cm.

Given the area of the triangle = 60cm^2.

W.K.T, Area = \sqrt{s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)}

60 =  \sqrt{(x+12)(x + 12 - x)(x + 12 - x)(x + 12 - 24)}

60 =  \sqrt{(x + 12) * 12 * 12 * (x - 12)}

60 = 12 \sqrt{x^2 - 12^2}

 \frac{60}{12} =  \sqrt{x^2 - 144}

5 =  \sqrt{x^2 - 144}

25 = x^2 - 144

x^2 = 169

x =  \sqrt{169}

x = 13cm.

We know that perimeter of the triangle = (13 + 13 + 24)cm

                                                                  = 50cm.

Hope this helps!
