Given Figure : Triangle

Area of the triangle = 1/2 × base × height sq.units

Base. = 2 × Area/ Height

Height = 2 × Area/Base

For Question no. 1,

Base = 15 cm and Area = 87 sq.cm

Height = 2 × 87/15 = 11.6 cm

For Question no. 2

Height = 31.4mm and Area = 1256 sq.mm

Base = 2 × 1256/31.4 = 80 mm

For Question no. 2

Base = 22cm and Area = 170.5 sq.cm

Height = 2 × 170.5/22 = 15.5 cm
