First n even natural numbers are summed up as:

S= n/2(2a+(n-1)d) by AP

S= n/2(2×2+ 2n-2)

(d=2, a=2)

then,

S= n(n+1)

Therefore, first n even natural number sum up to n(n+1)

Similarly, we can work out that the sum of first n odd natural numbers is n².

on putting this value of n² in the given condition,

(1+ (1/n))×n²

=n²+n =n(n+1)

Which is the required proof

Hence, proved :)

frooti24: it is not correct
farhanbahmed08pcsmwm: How? I just needed to prove it, right?
