HEYA MATE, HERE IS UR ANSWER ____________________

2x-4/8x+1=3/7

by cross multiplication

7 (2x-4)=3 (8x+1)

14x-28=24x+3........ (1)

14x-24x=3+28

-10x=31

x=31/-10

x=-3.1

NOW CHECKING

SUBSTITUTING VALUE OF X=-3.1
or it will ne easy to take -31/10 in equation 1.

14×-31/10-28=24×-31/10+3
-71.4=-71.4

LHS=RHS

Hence verified.
